兰草音乐( Bluegrass )起源于上世纪四十年代，它无数次地被争议置疑，能否与现代节奏划上等号。艺术争辩过程的形成，往往爆裂于一方的吹毛求疵，并常常暂停于争辩双方抗衡后的精疲力竭。最近一轮的硝烟被熄灭驱散在Nickel Creek（五分钱克里克乐队）的灿烂阳光下，并预示着这个名词将激发起乡村歌坛新一轮的回归浪潮。于是乎，在美丽传说的律动中，人们恢复了平和并逐渐愿意倾听，同时感到先前界定音乐的举动其实是 
蛮可笑的。
